Connect Base: Connect to a new Wi-Fi network

After you set up your Base, you can connect it to a different Wi-Fi network, for example after you change your router or move.

  1. In the FluentPet app, make sure you are signed in to your account.
  2. Tap Hardware. Your Base is listed. Do not tap your Base. Tapping it opens the Base details, not setup.
  3. Tap +, then tap Add Base, and follow the steps in Connect Base: Set up your Base in the app again.
  4. On Select your Wi-Fi network, select your new Wi-Fi network.
  5. After the Base connects to the new network, tap Skip for now on Ready to add buttons?. You do not need to re-link your Buttons.

Your Base is now connected to your new Wi-Fi network. All your press history and Button data are kept. Setting up the Base again only reconnects it to the internet and does not reset any other data or settings.

If you received a Base from another owner, or the Base was registered to a different household, first reset the Base to factory settings to unlink all Buttons. Then follow Connect Base: Set up your Base in the app.
